The goal is to give each participant the toolkit to develop as a rock climber and ultimately the skills needed to take on new climbing adventures, including multipitch.
The course lasts two days and is typically taken over a weekend.
The student must have a guide certificate beforehand and climb regularly.
Day one

Equipment knowledge, what are the limits of our equipment - Materials, kilonewtons and lifetime
Belay technique for rock climbing, dynamic belay, rock shelves - Fall factor
Fall training for belayer + climber.
Cleaning of traversing and overhanging routes
Too hard route - descending on bail-link + prusik
Lunch break
13.00 - 17.00
Cleaning an anchor (two different techniques)
Unbinding the rope brake.
Lost rope brake - securing with HSE
Take over security - and get out of the system.
Building V-anchor in bolts and wood(s)
Safety at the top of the cliff (via ferrata belay)
Difference between top rope and abseiling anchors
Rapel techniques Climbing up and down ropes (grigri + prusik technique)
Day two
09.00 – 12.30
Different multipitch anchors - hanging or standing
Standards for communication
Securing second man and lead climber from anchor
Climbing a single pitch, anchoring, securing the second person from the top, abseiling down.
Fall close to anchor for first mate.
Simple waist pull to help the other person
A0 aid climbing
Lunch break
13.00 - 17.00
Climbing and abseiling on a 3 pitch multipitch route under continuous supervision
First and second man alternate for each pitch and falls are practised while leading and climbing second man
