Payment and cancellation policy 

At Klatring Bornholm, we want to provide you with a positive experience both before and during the tours. We understand that life can bring unforeseen changes, which is why we've created a cancellation policy that gives you flexibility while safeguarding our preparations and resources.

Payment:

If payment is not requested during booking, payment is due on arrival. We accept credit cards, MobilePay and cash. 

Minimum number of participants:

For tours with only 1-2 participants at departure, the minimum amount corresponding to 3 participants on that tour is charged. This is to cover all labour costs and equipment wear and tear. Klatring Bornholm endeavours to inform any affected bookings the day before departure.

Cancellation more than 7 days before the trip:

If you choose to cancel one, more or all participants more than 7 days before the scheduled departure, you will receive a full refund of the amount you have paid. 

Cancellation between 7 and 3 days before the trip:
If you cancel one, more or all participants between 3 and 7 days before the trip, you will receive 75 % of the paid amount back for the affected participants. This allows us to cover some of the fixed costs incurred in planning the trip.

Cancellation less than 3 days before the trip:
If you cancel one, more or all participants less than 3 days before the trip, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds. We recommend that you explore the possibilities of transferring your participation to another person(s) or using our rebooking options (see below).

Rebooking:
If you want to rebook for another date, we are flexible! You can rebook your tour free of charge, provided it is done at least 3 days before the tour. If you rebook closer to the tour departure (less than 2 days before), we will charge an administration fee of 100 DKK.

No-show:
If you do not show up for the tour without informing us in advance, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds or rebooking. We recommend that you contact us if you have any issues with attending.

Fear of heights - Money Back Guarantee:

If fear of heights sets in at the cliff edge and prevents participation completely, the full amount will be refunded for that person.

Force Majeure:

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war or other incidents that make the trip impossible), we will make every effort to find a solution that suits you, including offering rebooking or a full refund.

How do you request a cancellation or rebooking?
To request a cancellation or rebooking, please contact us by replying to your booking confirmation email or call 93607119 and provide your booking information.

Responsibility and consent

Klatring Bornholm maintains a high level of safety equipment, maintenance, instructor training and execution of the activities. Our goal is to create great experiences in a safe and secure environment. However, activities in nature are not without risks, so please read the following:

1. Liability for injuries and accidents
   I am aware that participation in outdoor activities such as climbing, rappelling or other activities offered by Klatring Bornholm may involve a risk of personal injury and property damage, the latter covering e.g. lost mobile phones. I accept and understand that I as a participant have a responsibility to follow the instructor's instructions and that Klatring Bornholm is not liable for any injuries, accidents or deaths resulting from negligent behaviour and actions performed on my own initiative and without the instructor's instruction or consent.

4. Health and physical fitness
   I declare that I am physically fit enough to participate in the activity I have signed up for and that I do not suffer from any diseases or health conditions that could pose a risk to my own or others' safety. I understand that I am responsible for informing Klatring Bornholm of any health conditions that may affect my participation.
5. Insurance solutions
   Klatring Bornholm has taken out statutory liability insurance through TopDanmark, which covers the company's liability towards guests participating in the activities offered.
6. Precautions and safety
   I undertake to follow all safety instructions and rules given by the instructors during the activity. I accept that the tour organiser has the right to terminate my participation in the activity without the right to a refund if I fail to comply with the safety procedures or engage in reckless behaviour that may pose a danger to myself or others.
7. Cancellation or modification of the trip
   I understand that Klatring Bornholm may have to cancel or change the trip due to safety, weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. 
8. Images and media recordings
   I consent to Klatring Bornholm taking photos and videos during the activities and that these materials may be used for marketing or other purposes without compensation.
