For you and your belayer:
Rockclimbing on toprope
Klatring Bornholm gives you the opportunity to climb independently at the lake Opalsøen together with your belayer. Please note that you are required to have a belayer certificate for toprope. We put up 6 different routes of varying. Instructors will be present and ready to help you get started. After that it is up to you and your belayer to climb on your own.
Are you fresh off the climbing wall or is your climbing certificate a few years old? Whatever your level, our instructors will make sure that you are belaying safely and that you can refresh rusty routines.
Requirements for you:
- Belayer certificate for toprope
- Belaying with semi-automatic rope-brake*
- If under 18 years old must be accompanied by adult
Entrance, opening-hours and rent of equipment
When you climb on topropeyou can rent all equipment to favorable prices..
You can by 10 tour-card at the place. Book normally and in advance.
For climbers at every level
We have climbingroutes that fits your level and we will give you advice to how you can be a better climber. After your first climb the height and difficulty can be increased on the same or on other routes. That is why the activity is for both beginners and for experienced climbers - we will make sure you are challenged no matter the level.
Children 7 years and over can participate,so climbing is an accessible activity for both those with and without children.
Practical information
- Try different routes – difficulties from easy to challenging
- Duration: 2 hours
- Belayer certificate is required
The activity:
- You will be equipped with helmet, climbing harness and shoes before we all take off to the rocks
- The instructor makes a check of everyones belayertechniqe before the climbing starts at 6 different climbingroutes of 10-18 meters height and of different difficulty
- The activity ends when we are all back at the parking lot. Here the gear will be handed back.
You should bring:
Comfortable clothes, water and a snack

We meet at the parking lot at Opalsøen, where you find our wooden trailer.

Many cool routes and you just wish the routes were even longer.
