Climbing workshop

Join a climbing trip with Climbing Bornholm's instructors in the beautiful surroundings and cliffs of Opalsøen. The trip introduces you to basic climbing and belaying techniques that will enable you to climb to the heights with safety in mind. Once you have the skills and equipment knowledge in place, there will be plenty of time to climb 8 different routes.

The tour is for anyone who wants to explore the sport of climbing and learn new skills. The instructor will customise the content according to your level. 

First step to becoming a climber

Experience both rock climbing and learn new skills you can take with you. If you are considering taking an insurance certificate, this trip is a good step on the way!

Content:

1. We meet at the climbing trailer and find all equipment, including climbing shoes, harness, helmet and more.
2. On the cliffs, you'll get a 30-45 minute course on how to secure the rope and practice first at low altitude. We use assisted rope brakes that lock themselves in the event of an error. Once the instructor has approved your newly learnt belay technique, you can start climbing at higher altitudes under continued supervision from your instructor.
3. We are opening 8 different climbing routes, which will be both good to start and develop on.

Age restrictions

Young people between the ages of 15 and 17 can participate when accompanied by an adult.
