Experience rock climbing & abseiling together!
The high cliff sides and the area around Lake Opal are unique to Denmark and absolutely perfect for climbing and abseiling! Join Klatring Bornholm's guides on a trip and take on the challenges in safe and secure surroundings.
Climbing takes place on several different routes of varying degrees of difficulty. The instructor familiarizes you with the course of the route and gives climbing tips, if necessary. You are secured in the rope at all times and when you have reached the top (or your own top), you are lowered down at a leisurely pace.
Abseiling starts at the top of the 18 meter high rock wall, like TV. for the climbing rock, where you control the speed yourself. To feel comfortable with equipment and technique, you go through a trial course on a slope. When the rappelling starts, you are always in the instructor's safe hands, with a backup rope.

Practical information

- Duration: 3 hours
- For all ages, but minimum 6 years
The activity:
- At the start you will be equipped with a helmet, climbing harness and gloves at our base trailer before we all take off to the top of the rocks.
- At the cliffs, everyone receives thorough instruction and is given access to climbing and abseiling on the trip. You have the opportunity to try several times and on different courses.
- The activity ends when we are all back at the parking lot. Here the gear will be handed back.

Comfortable clothes, practical shoes, water and a snack

We meet at the parking lot at Opalsøen, where you find our wooden trailer.
